A Two-Day Showcase of Speed, Skill, and Community
From July 26th to 27th, the 2025 China Electric Skateboard League – Guangzhou Stop brought together riders, brands, and fans for a high-octane two-day event that pushed the boundaries of electric skateboarding in China.
Hosted by MEEPO and supported by industry giants like JD Sports, Jinjiyan, and over 20 major partners, the event proved that electric skateboarding in China is not only growing — it’s becoming a serious, structured sport. From technical races to community moments, the league delivered a powerful statement: the future of eskate is fast, creative, and globally connected.
Over the course of 2 full-day competition, riders pushed limits across a custom-designed race track. From time trials to final sprints, every moment was charged with adrenaline.
Competition Format
The race followed a multi-stage structure, referencing international standards like ESK8CON, while remaining uniquely local in energy:
1. Time Trial Seeding
Each rider completed 3 laps. The fastest lap determined their division:
- Top 1/3 → Pro Group
- Mid 1/3 → Advanced Group
- Final 1/3 → Open Group
2. Chase Heats
Each group ran 2 heats of 6–10 riders per round. Top 2 riders in total time advanced to the finals.
3. Final Round
Finalists competed in a single 5-lap sprint. Top 3 took home cash prizes and trophies.
Focus at the start line. Riders line up for chase heats in the Pro Group.
Gear, Style, and Personality
Electric skateboarding is about speed — but also about identity. Riders showed up with bold board builds, wild styles, and fully customized setups.
A fan-favorite: all-pink everything, matching board and gear, with confidence to match.
One of the wildest DIY builds of the day — 6-wheel torque beast.
All Levels, One Track
The league welcomed all types of riders, from first-time competitors to seasoned pros. Everyone had a place to push themselves and be part of a national community.
