I got the Meepo Mini 2S for Christmas and it is everything that I expected from Meepo as my good friend has had a Meepo board which I have ridden. It is hella fast, so definitely recommend wearing a helmet no matter how experienced you are. I know they look kooky or uncool, but I've been skateboarding for over 50 years and wearing a helmet at these speeds will prevent you from getting coloring books for Christmas for the rest of your life. More about the board though as it is maneuverable and fast, but very responsive to subtle weight shifts when you are setting up for a turn. I haven't ridden it on any steep transitions yet, but just flying around my local area (especially if you can find new really smooth pavement) is a blast. It's more akin to snowboarding at the speeds this board will do although trying to get it sideways and slide wouldn't work for me as the wheels maintain good purchase on the ground (probably a good thing). I would recommend this board for all intermediate to expert riders wishing to try a powered skateboard.

This thing has major torque...get rdy it will throw you off! Exactly what I wanted! Top speed is more than enough! Good build quality sweet lil board...it's is heavy for how small it is if you have to carry it very far but who does that ride it and enjoy!

My experience with riding my 1st electric skateboard is incredible. The first time I rode it, I knew that it would take me a few tries just to feel comfortable with board. I love wearing my helmet and gladly read the manual before taking care of the board professionally. In the future, I will love to mail back my board so the company can switch out the battery life from 11 miles to 20 miles if possible. In the end, I will definitely be using this Christmas Gift for college because my school has a huge campus. Which means that I can ride it during my lunch break, cruise around campus, and arrive to classes on time. Thank you so much for this awesome gift. Keep up the hard & dedicated work. Got the ER version and I love it. It has really good acceleration and has a fast top speed. what I found to be helpful is if you want to make it last longer on one charge is to keep it in speed 2. Max speed takes a lot out of the battery and drains it faster. The board is really well made and has powerful motors that will get you up hill fast. I highly recommend this board.

Overall a great board for the price and will definitely be buying other boards from meepo in the future.

It’s a great board super fun one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. but the wheels especially the hub motor sleeves wear out fast so keep that in mind. and as fast as it is it doesn’t go the 29 mph top speed that it claims. I am only 120 pounds and on a perfectly smooth highway with a slight downhill the absolute most it will go is 27 maybe 28 which is still very fast and I don’t particularly wish to go faster I’ve just seen plenty of videos of people going 31 mph on this and wish I had the option to go a little faster as I got more comfortable but other than that it’s a great board and I highly recommend it.

I am originally coming from a Boosted V2 Mini X, and have ridden eboards in an urban environment for 3 years. Bad news first, I very much dislike Meepos controller interface. I love the lcd display, but I think having a "safety" triggter on the boosted's remote was one of the safest and most useful features to have. I also was a big fan of boosteds forward and backward propulsion system, which made going backward part of the board, and thus really smooth for speed adjustments and backing up short distances.
I found that I never have the time or the risk to back up on my meepo board in traffic, and i found the brake system and scroll wheel to be too touchy for me. I keep the brakes on level 1, while I ride on 3 or 4. This is because any higher brake level makes it extremely difficult to control my speeds while riding, especially when sharp decreases in speed are required. I find that I pitch forward, and while I have had a lot of practice, if I hit a bump at the same time I would definitely fall off.
Overall, i find the meepo to be incredibly improved over my boosted board. The Meepo is on paper a few pounds heavier, but the weight is balanced incredibly. Carrying it is so much easier than carrying the boosted, as the weight is very top heavy. Riding is also conversely very different, as the weight of the board doesn't keep me as stable on the ground, and thus I find that on sharper turns I actually feel one bank of wheels leave the ground.
The acceleration is smoother, quieter, and safer. I love the different modes and the customization aspect of the board and remote. The charging port on the battery is a beautiful detail, and the sheer capacity of the battery is mind blowing. On a boosted board I used to burn through nearly the whole battery on a single commute. But with Meepo I have been able to do up to four. The board does slow down to conserve power at certain percentage ticks, like 50 and 25, but it makes sense.
Also as one who has spent hours tearing apart and maintaining a boosted board, I love the integrated motors into the wheelhouses, it is cleaner, and so much safer for the parts. I wish the power button was a little more sheltered, or perhaps a longer press to activate, for safety reasons. And I like the flatter deck, its easier to ride on than the more concave boosted board.

I love this board and the feel! However, the quality control was not great for my product. Unfortunately, the grip tape has plenty of bubbles, and even though I purchased the ER model which is supposed to have a 20-mile range, it certainly does not.

The overall design and quality seems pretty good. I've had the board for 101 miles and it seems to be holding up. I like that you can install cloud wheels. They really do a good job at reducing vibrations by about half of what you feel in the orange ones. The bushings take a little while to break in, about 25 miles till they start feeling like they should. The only downside to this board is the range. I got the standard version with claimed 11 mile range and I've never got that. I ride kind of fast, between 15-22 mph and on some hills so this doesn't help the range. I think you will get 11 miles if you go 10mph on flat smooth road with the orange wheels. The cloud wheels take up acceleration, power, and range. This would be fine if there was more range. I used to cruise around on speed 3 with the orange wheels to feel a little thrill and save battery power but now I need speed 4 to do the same with the cloud wheels. It does it alright in speed 4 but it drains the power the fastest. My last ride I went up hill about a quarter of the way and the rest was either downhill or a little flat. I was in speed 3-4 mostly. I got 4.9 miles of range! That's with it recharging a little when I would break going downhill. The good thing though is that when the battery gets low and it won't let you go anymore, the breaks still work. This is good if you are going downhill and need to break a few times to not walk down to your car. The ER version is just $170 more while the ER battery on its own is $300! Wish I got the ER instead. Also their return policy sucks so you cant just try it out.

Love the board. Just wish the throttle had a broader power band. i ride it on the 4 power setting and small inputs on the wheel are too jumpy. The 3 setting doesn’t reach full speed and accelerates too slow

I ordered my mini2s on a Thursday and got it delivered the following Tuesday, right when it said it was to arrive. I've put 60 miles on it in a week and couldn't be happier! It's super comfortable and preforms wonderfully. I only wish I would have sprung for the ER version so I could ride it longer. Overall great buy!!!

I live in Austin Texas and my co-workers were in love with the board. I can't begin to describe the level of happiness it brings to my heart. It was like child like wonder happened all over again.
