my grandson loves it

For this being my first EBoard I was astonished when it carried me uphill easily (s+) as a 200+ rider. My one thing i would like is maybe a few different graphs of expected performance based on rider weight paired with what mode and maybe even severety of terrain/elevation. as ive only been able to get about 10 miles on the board even when trying to maximize efficiency. Ill keep measuring and trying. Overall awesome experience and cant wait to upgrade to another board.

Smooth ride and able to take modifications with ease, tires could be better. All in all worth the chedder.

I have the voyager x glow ✨ great board all you need and some

Hi everyone! My name is Danny, and I recently purchased a Meepo Rover. I already own three Backfire boards, but I really wanted to add a true all-terrain board to my collection. After doing quite a bit of research online, I narrowed my choices down to the Meepo Rover and the Meepo Hurricane. Based on the combination of quality, features, performance, and price, I decided to give the Rover a try — and I’m very glad I did. First of all, the Rover is definitely a little heavy, but considering its size, battery, motors, and all-terrain capability, that is understandable. After all, this is a serious longboard. Once you start riding it, however, the performance is an absolute blast! Acceleration is smooth, steady, and consistent. Having four riding modes to choose from is also a great feature because you can adjust the board depending on your experience, the terrain, or simply how you feel that day. The pneumatic tires are extremely forgiving on pavement. They absorb sidewalk joints, cracks, rough surfaces, and smaller potholes very well. I even tested the Rover on grass, and it performs surprisingly well, especially when using S+ mode. The deck has plenty of space and feels very comfortable under your feet. The anti-slip surface provides excellent grip and keeps you planted securely on the board. In my opinion, the best way to use this board is simple: EVERY DAY! Range has been very impressive. I am getting somewhere north of 25 miles, and the range can potentially be extended even further by riding in the lower-power L or E modes. The truck bushings came a little loose from the factory, but I believe that is something every rider should adjust according to personal preference and body weight anyway. For reference, I weigh about 220 lbs. I also purchased the Meepo all-terrain airless tires and plan to install them to see whether they provide even greater stability at higher speeds. During one test, I reached 32 mph on the Rover. Frankly, I probably will not be doing that again! 😄 For me personally, 25–28 mph is about the maximum speed I feel comfortable riding on a longboard for safety reasons. The important thing is that the Rover has more than enough performance available when you want it. Another big advantage is the belt-drive setup instead of hub motors. This makes wheel changes relatively quick and gives you much more flexibility when choosing different wheel setups. The Rover also has regenerative braking, which helps improve efficiency while providing smooth, controlled braking. The brakes feel predictable and add to the overall confidence and enjoyment of riding the board. At the time of writing this review, I have already put approximately 523 miles on my Rover, so my opinion is based on a lot more than just a few test rides. I am 50 years old, and I am honestly having the time of my life with this all-terrain board. The Rover proves that electric skateboarding definitely isn't only for teenagers or people in their twenties. If you enjoy riding, exploring, and having fun, age doesn't matter. For anyone looking for a reliable, capable, and reasonably priced all-terrain electric longboard, I would absolutely recommend the Meepo Rover. Performance-wise, I believe it competes very well with boards from other manufacturers while offering excellent value for the money. One final recommendation: buy a handle for the motor side of the board. It makes carrying the Rover into stores, train stations, or other places much easier. After more than 500 miles, I can confidently say: Buy it. Ride it. Enjoy it. I don't think you'll regret it! Thank you, Meepo, for making such a fun board!

I have had the this bored for less then a month and I have had all of the tires go flat and all of my tires are worn down I don’t know how you expect me to spend $190 on wheels every month for the rest of the time I have this bord

The board has been great, easy to use but it’s not even been a week and a bearing has already come off and the belt fell off. Nervous how long the board will last.

I love it.

Had 3 out of 4 tires go flat after maybe an hour of total riding. The hubs have been making a high pitch whining noise, and the battery has lasted maybe 30-40 minutes. Or 4ish miles. Kansas miles, so no hills or rough terrain. Maybe I just got a defective board but for someone who bought 2 boards and accessories for both, was super pumped to ride this has been a pretty big letdown.

Never ride a board in my youth. But thought this looked cool so I started researching elec boards and I came across the Rover.. after checked reviews I took a gamble and ordered it. Came when it should have and everything in the box was undamaged. I don't have a bad thing to say about the board yet. It's been almost 2 months and it doesn't do anything except what it is supposed to do.. holds a charge well and goes up hills MUCH better than I expected. I'm 185lbs and even with a low battery it has no prob going up hills or as fast as I want to take it. It's a great board. Period.

Its been a blast. Perfect for a big guy like myself. The deck is huge and the wheels will keep you to the ground. Well, the board at least. Changing parts is easy. The different ride modes are great for easing yourself into higher speeds or letting a new person try it. Its been a great purchase.

This 63-year old is reliving his youth! Well built and well played! Touché!

Very fun ride super happy with my purchase!

Its everything I hoped it would be!

The torque is insane. Loved after the first hill climb.

It rides really smooth on pavement and grass / dirt. Although I took it on a gravel path in the woods and it rides really bumpy / shaky and I had to go very slow because it seems like it wasn’t meant for that - the wheels were shaken very roughly. It’s heavier than expected and awkward to hold so I wish there was a handle. It feels a lot more mechanical than your standard V5 and so it slows down the second you release your acceleration. It’s really heavy with normal pushing, so if your board dies, it doesn’t roll like the V5 and will be a pain to get back home. I wish it felt a little more like normal skating and makes me crave the feeling I got from riding a V5. Overall it is really fun still and great for the city with all the bumps and stuff. It’s got a lot of power. I raced a V5 with the Rover and the V5 won. The V5 feels a lot more flowy where this feels more electronic.

Meepo Bamboo Hurricane Pro Review Overall Rating: 9.7/10 Closest thing to snowboarding on pavement. Having snowboarded since the 1980s, I can honestly say the Meepo Bamboo Hurricane Pro is as close as I have come to replicating the feeling of carving a snowboard on any skateboard. The flexible bamboo/fiberglass deck, drop-deck design, pneumatic tires, and carving-focused geometry create an incredibly fluid riding experience. Unlike stiff carbon-fiber boards, the Bamboo Hurricane Pro flexes naturally through turns, allowing the rider to load and unload energy much like carving on snow. Carving is where this board truly excels. Rather than simply steering, you lean into turns, pressure the deck, and transition smoothly from edge to edge. It rewards flowing S-turns and dynamic weight shifts that feel remarkably similar to snowboarding. Ride quality is exceptional. The pneumatic tires absorb cracks, rough pavement, and expansion joints with ease, while the low ride height and wide stance inspire confidence at speed. Power delivery is smooth yet strong, offering excellent hill-climbing ability and confident acceleration without feeling abrupt. Comfort is among the best in the electric skateboard market, making long rides enjoyable rather than fatiguing. Pros • Outstanding carving ability • Extremely comfortable bamboo flex deck • Pneumatic tires provide excellent ride quality • Powerful hill climbing • Stable at speed • Excellent range and battery performance • Premium construction Cons • Heavy to carry • Requires occasional pneumatic tire maintenance • Premium price point Final Thoughts For riders who have spent decades snowboarding, the Meepo Bamboo Hurricane Pro delivers one of the most authentic snowboard-like experiences available on pavement. It emphasizes carving, flow, and rider engagement over simply achieving high speeds. "This is as close as I have come to the feeling of snowboarding on any skateboard." P.C. Esk8

Awesome

I’d like to return this, the wheels pop every ride and the range is alarmingly short, definitely less than 10 miles

Awesome

Awesome. Bindings would be cool for more aggressive off road stuff and jumps.

I finally found ESK8 Nirvana! The Hurricane Bamboo Pro Kite is the board you have been looking for. I received board number 0002x, so they haven't sold that many. Dollar for dollar it is the best board on the market. I also have the Edge and the Flow. This beats them both by a mile. Not. Even. Close. If you like the closest feel to snowboarding, this is it! Although I would love to get the Monster 2500, this board will suffice for now. Turns are effortless and the low center of gravity would be great for someone just getting started. I snowboarded for decades, and the similarity to that is uncanny. I much prefer this to winter boarding, especially being on Cape Cod. Very relaxing and very Zen!!!!🧘

Groomers at sunset in San Diego in July… Who knew? I feel like a child.

This thing is a beast. Bigger than I thought it was, way mou powerful than I thought it was, and just a blast. So glad I bought this.

Meepo customer service is amazing! They were so helpful! And worked hard and fast to get me my order. And were so incredibly understanding!

I’m a say I’m very surprised and really disappointed with meepo. After ordering the rover board and cyclone wheel upgrade with belts and pulleys, they never delivered the belts and pulleys. Now they’re saying they don’t send them out but it’s clearly there on their website as what’s included in the box. It’s really disappointing that all you do is exchange emails and I either have to blow $100 to get the parts or spend another two or three weeks to have them not send them to me anyway shame on you Meepo. I think we’re done forever. as far as the rover it rides pretty sweet but the deck with a W concave is extremely uncomfortable. I can last 20 minutes at best.

Took a little long to ship but it was all worth it very durable board and everything you could hope for especially in a 700 dollar board ive been able to go 12 miles on a charge in E mode its advertised as 20 miles but its hard to be disappointed about it after you ride it lol

The skateboard is awesome... I love it.

Two flat tires within the first month.

Loved it. Was able to just open the box and go!

I bought the board for my 17 yr old grandson. This wasn't his first board, he calls it the Cadillac of boards lol and loves it

Top of the line! I don’t regret the purchase at all. Everything as advertised and I can hit up to 32 mph on flat stretches.🗯️

Totally worth it, I use it to go to school, so i dont spend money in oíl or gas and stuff like that, I live in México and the streets arent so great but this beast just go like its his house, the only problem is that here is not a very clean City so my tires got damaged very often, but i just bough the solid wheels, so its perfect now, thank meepo

Bought a Meepo Rover a Week ago and at first it was fun and all until all my inner tube started to blow up one after the other. Had 6 inner tube 4 already install and 2 back-up...ended up using them all and reapring it with some glue but they still blew up all that after a week from purchase. The board works reaaly well tough, i like the speed and power but damn the wheel for me is the issues.

Ride easy, took me an hour to get use to it. A great New toy!

Was a great gift at first,me and my 14-year-old son enjoy riding the boards on the weekends but now my son board is having issues . Almost spent $1500.00 on two of the Rover skateboards and meepo want me to take the one board apart and troubleshoot it with the one that's still working... A little upset I feel like meepo is giving me the runaround and not replacing the none working board. And I'm pretty sure I'm covered under a warranty so this should be a simple fix. Board doesn't work doesn't cut on doesn't do anything.

From skating back in my twenties and now that I’m almost forty I absolutely love it. It handles bumps, smooth, definitely a city board. Great quality. Sounds amazing when you’re cruising it not too loud not too quiet. I would recommend this to anyone and it’s the best purchase I have made in 2026. Even better than the purchase of my BMW.

The board is fun and very fast but replace the pneumatic wheels as fast as possible! I have had two tires pop in my first two weeks kinda disappointed about that but everything else works great!

I love this board!! It's smooth. The acceleration and braking control is nice. The board is stable at high speeds. I love it. Thank you. I really want it to be faster though. Do you have any recommendations to increase my speed?

Worth it!
