The light are perfect but I would recommend the angle brackets bc I think they would look cooler. The light are bright and you can adjust the brightness via the app. The rear light is bright so much so you have to turn the bright ness down in the app.
It says max 28 mph and 20 miles range I finally was able to test it out after getting my replacement order and I could only run about 26 mph at the most and I’m only 180 lbs and running it between mostly 18 mph and 26 mph I only was able to get 13 miles on one ride pushing its speed so the 20 miles as advertised must be if your only going like 12-15 mph for 20 miles I’m sure and 26 mph is kind of disappointing given about 3 years ago I had one in highschool and I cositently went 30 mph and I had the standard v2 board so to me honestly I feel the quality is not as good as I remember it I can get it going as fast as it is supposed to go u less I’m going slightly down hill or flat ground with no wind and has too be a perfectly smooth road do I still think they are fun yes I do did I get what I remembered them being like or was expecting no not really when you try and go fast on it and hold the throttle wide open it dies way to fast I got only 8 miles on it before the one charge light started flashing and vibrating at me and I only was getting it up to 26mph most of the ride so in that aspect very disappointing for what is advertised
Meepo as a brand/company is more than just that to me I have 2 meepo boards and the hurricane 1500 on the way but orded the shred lights one was defective sent them a message and bam one in the mail within a week. Thats customer service thanks

Outstanding customer service. This is my second Meepo board, Meepo has treated me amazing since the get go. Truly wonderful CEO and support staff. Anybody who complains about this company is full of bull$&@! If you are doubting your purchase, don’t seriously put your mind at ease they are worth every penny and more
I purchased the off road kit to smooth out the ground feel of my ride, I hated the way the cement sidewalks with the bumps feel and now they are as smooth feeling as pavement. The off road kit eats around %30 of range but it has opened up so many areas for me to go. The top speed is reduced to about 25ish mph but I rarely went faster than that anyway, and I usually cruise between 10 and 15 mph. They do extend the wheel base lengthwise providing a more flexible board which is good for dips and weird shaped paths. The turning is incredible, i did need to stiffen it up a bit but it turns much sharper than before. I was able to take some pretty steep climbs that I thought would give me trouble, and I did need to plant my back foot going up to keep traction but it handled it perfectly. If you want the smoothest ride possible for this board this is the answer, you will sacrifice range and top speed but the torque is insane and just cruising is more comfortable.
I love the meepo Flow board. It is absolutely just like carving on your snowboard.. . Absolutely fantastic!! And awesome way to get around town as well. If you’re even considering getting one… do it!! This thing is awesome fun!
I purchased the meepo voyager because I enjoy longboarding around Anchorage AK. It was my main form of transportation when I was a teenager. And now I can pretty much go anywhere I want, the board originally comes with good longboard wheels, and I put about 200 miles on them before upgrading to the off road kit. The original wheels are good, better than anything I had when I was younger. I purchased the off road kit to smooth out the cement side walk bumps and for the ability to go on dirt paths which we have a lot here. The off road kit comes with much taller wheels and they really do smooth out smaller bumps and the grip on trails is pretty good, I don't exceed 15mph and usually keep closer to 10mph off road, on pavement the wheels handle good and make rocks leaves and other debris less annoying. The board will get me about 30 miles of range stock, with the off road wheels I can easily get 20 miles. The board itself is good build quality, and the seals on the battery and control unit seem to keep water splashes from getting to any of the electronics, unfortunately the weather in AK can be temperamental and I have gotten stuck in a couple good showers, with that said the bearings and motors held up very good. I have not had any issues with my board, and have been enjoying riding everywhere I want. Its fun to ride to work instead of driving sometimes. I would %100 recommended meepo as a brand as well as the voyager board.
I purchased the Meepo Hurricane Bamboo 2in1,…haven’t really broke it in yet (still a little stiff, needs a few move runs), BUT, what a responsive board (quick speed, braking and handles well), at level 4, the start/stop is OMG very reactive (beware),…I would recommend use of FULL GEAR while riding, at 20-30 mph the pavement/terrain are not your friends,…BTW, I purchased this for my grandson but I ride it more (I’m 76 yrs old),…RIP ‘TIL YOU R.I.P., if you want that good old shit grin back, BUY THIS BOARD !!!
I really enjoy the campus as I use it daily to get around my college campus. The college area has various kinds of pavements and the campus is a very entry level almost toy e board so it dosent handle rough pavement the best. I am going to try and upgrade to a mini 5 because the campus battery dies decently fast, can’t make it up hills and the motor is getting beat up by the pavement. As a college student it’s difficult to afford a $400+ skateboard so I appreciate the refurbished side of your website as i can work towards buying a better board.
I'm really enjoying my Meepo V5. Super fun and also a bit scary lol.
I've been skateboarding, longboarding and downhilling since I was about 8yo and I'm 58yo now. However this is my first esk8. Very different experience for sure. Not to say it's more difficult, just different. I'm a speed freak so this board is quite satisfying for me. Not insanely fast but pretty dern quick! I love railing corners on the V5. The braking is awesome as well. Saved me a few times already.
I have modded mine a bit to make it fit my type of riding style. For example, I've heard people say the grip tape is super grippy. I have to laugh because it is really isn't that grippy to me lol. I'm used to pizza grip from back in the day, which no one has ever even heard of. So I added red Vicious Grip Tape which is the closest I've found. Then I found the stock bushings were too soft IMHO for higher speeds. So I switched them out for Venom 96a tall bushings. I also dewedged the front and rear trucks. With these mods I now have a super stable set up at speed with sticky grip tape to keep my feet planted. Next mods are, 96a pivot bushings, Roger Bros foot stop and an extended range battery. Right I'm only getting about 5 miles because I'm flooring it everywhere I go lol. I can't help it. It's just so fun!
Get one. You won't be disappointed.
Lights work fantastic. Mounting instructions could have been better. Was sold on the Bluetooth capability of this Satellites with the sl1000s. I'm an Android user and the current app does not work on the latest Android platform. So I do not have Bluetooth control. I was able to link the lights together still but not as convenient as the app would have been.
The board has been amazing, I use it everyday at college to get from my dorm to my classes, its very smooth and I love the brakes. Its very quick and easy to use, the battery lasts me all day at school and its not even halfway dead. Easy to store aswell, everyone has electric scooters that they have to lock outside and might get stolen while I can bring my longboard in class with me.
This board is absolutely amazing. Never been on any kind of skateboard so there is a big learning curve. After two weeks of riding I did 5 miles today. It was so dang fun.
The tires make it the Smoothest ride I have experienced yet. Turning radius isnt the best. Especially after riding the Flow, but still Great for long straight rides. Definitely recommend for long commutes.
I am an enthusiast with multiple electric skateboards for different purposes. Meepo has been the best company to work with in terms of product quality, accessories, reasonable shipping and customer service.
