I’ve had the board a few weeks, slapped on the 107mm wheels, and just added the shredlights. My friends want one now too. I’m new-ish to skateboarding and just wanted something to cruise. By week two I was comfortable enough to go top speed in gear 2. It’s seriously so stable and user friendly, and I look forward to daily sessions
It says max 28 mph and 20 miles range I finally was able to test it out after getting my replacement order and I could only run about 26 mph at the most and I’m only 180 lbs and running it between mostly 18 mph and 26 mph I only was able to get 13 miles on one ride pushing its speed so the 20 miles as advertised must be if your only going like 12-15 mph for 20 miles I’m sure and 26 mph is kind of disappointing given about 3 years ago I had one in highschool and I cositently went 30 mph and I had the standard v2 board so to me honestly I feel the quality is not as good as I remember it I can get it going as fast as it is supposed to go u less I’m going slightly down hill or flat ground with no wind and has too be a perfectly smooth road do I still think they are fun yes I do did I get what I remembered them being like or was expecting no not really when you try and go fast on it and hold the throttle wide open it dies way to fast I got only 8 miles on it before the one charge light started flashing and vibrating at me and I only was getting it up to 26mph most of the ride so in that aspect very disappointing for what is advertised
One of the most fun experiences I have ever had. I look forward to riding it everyday. Definitely get the cyclone 107 wheels if you plan on commuting/riding it for long distances. The handle is really neat too, super convenient for carrying it around places and up/down stairs. Customer support is helpful, but takes a long time to respond due to being email only and based in China. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
Back in January I ordered the new V3S Max and I was so excited since I had Meepo boards in the past and the new specs seemed great! Unfortunately only 4 months into owning the board, the whole electronic system would cut out! I wouldn't be able to even break, creating a serious safety hazard. Since I had Meepo Care on the board, I started talking to a representative! About 3 weeks after our initial conversation, i finally got the new ESC necesary to fix the board. Everything was running smoothly until a week later the back axle snaps, taking the wiring on the motors with it.
It has now been over 6 months of consistent issues with the board. There have been at least 4 separate issues: everything from electronic removable components no longer functioning properly, internal wiring being frayed in the board, and physical issues such as the axle breaking, leading to over a 40 email back and forth between myself and the Meepo team over the time period.
My first instinct would be to fault the driver for reckless use but I have had the V3S and the V5 in the past and I have had no issues. Anyways, I drive on smooth asphalt on university campus roads for only short distances (2 miles per trip, no more than 5 miles a day).
Aswell, warranty based customer service is not the most responsive or helpful, either not at all responding to my communications or emails or taking close to 2 weeks of back and forth in order for an issue to be resolved. On top of that, because of the specifics of the warranty, customer service is unable to able to fix the internal wiring issues (frayed wiring poking out from the deck of the board).
I am not sure if it is the manufacturing quality of the board, spare parts, or if I have just been unlucky with this board, but I would definitely be cautious if looking to invest in the V3S Max :(

Btw, if there are any Meepo representatives , any help getting the board fixed would be greatly appreciated!
I had it for a few weeks now and I love it! The speed and range come as advertised. It's easy to get used to for a new riders. For a board as heavy as it is maneuverability is very good. The handle comes in handy, but Balance seems to be a bit off. Carrying it in right hand is comfortable, but in the left hand, it kinda pulls weight in the back. The power axle can heat up after a long ride. I'm curious to see how the rubber wheels will do on the gravel surface and the life of the battery. Too early to tell, but if the batteries hold, this is going to be a extremely good product.
For $409 (I got 60 off) you get a really capable long board. It is flex enough and you can carve really good. I can actually pump it like a regular board. It is beginner friendly, on level 1 it is not jumpy so you can gain confidence. I am happy with it, I should mention I'm 57 years young.
The hand hold is now in the centre of the board not where the centre of balance is like on the V5.
The remote is too chunky
Otherwise a solid performing board.
Item is really nice. Though I am a bit heavy (around 100kg) it'll still pull of at least 20km of range in gear 2 (around 20km/h). Higher gears reach nice speeds up to 40km/h but will drain the battery more quickly. Since it is listed with a range of 32km I am not sure if it lives up to that specification. Overall it's a very nice board with great control and great steering. Only thing is to use the brakes very carefully or you'll be thrown of by the sudden decrease in speed.
Absolutely LOVE my V3 Max! Headlights and brake lights make evening riding a dream. I do suggest a helmet while riding, the acceleration in 4th gear is no joke!
Love it ....my favorite company!!! Have over 6000km on meepo v3 and everything was exelent....now i have the meepo v3 max and i could be happier <3 love it
Pushed it to the limit at a secret desert location in the Mojave. It handled everything I threw at it in a very demanding environment.
Can’t go wrong with Meepo to the Max!
I have only walked my greyhound black and tan hound mix twice but she loves my meepo. The board can't keep up with her but that's fine with my 64 year old body.
probably put around 10-12miles in First Time! in low gear maximum 8-12mph all over!
i'm learning but Meepo helped give me the cheat-code.
extremely user friendly.
thanx again,
hugs and loves ;)
I love everything about it.
If only there are at least front lights.
And the possibility of it being more water resistant.
But overall I'm so happy and glad.
The costumer service guys sre rock stars.
