The SL-R1+ must be parallel to the ground with the lens pointing opposite to the direction of movement (backwards) in order to detect the correct braking direction. When you slow down rapidly, the SL-R1+ changes from the current light mode to solid mode at full brightness for 2 seconds (or longer depending on how fast you are moving) then returns to the current light mode.

Meepo as a brand/company is more than just that to me I have 2 meepo boards and the hurricane 1500 on the way but orded the shred lights one was defective sent them a message and bam one in the mail within a week. Thats customer service thanks

The lights are incredible! The mounts are cool, but I ended up buying longer screws because the nut wouldn’t go on with the mounts there. With the new screws, the front mounts went on great. The back angled mounts did go on well, however the lights and back wheels bite. They rub, I think because I upgraded to the 105 mm wheels over the 80 mm stock mepo edge wheels.

Good stuff, Bluetooth pairing could be better - sometimes the lights don’t react at the same time even though they are supposed to be all paired to a phone/each other, but it’s not a deal breaker - turning on manually is easy. Besides that nothing to complain about.
