I ride my Flow in an urban environment 100% of the time. Loved the OG 105 Cyclones, but they could be a bit harsh over pavement cracks with the Flow's solid deck. I also would see sliding over the sidewalk "braille strips" at crossings. These Cyclone 115's have cured all those minor distractions. In addition, the appearance really complements the Flow's design and graphics.
Love my 107s but the 115s give me more rubber between me and the road for our rougher roads. When I can get to our trails I will use the 107s too. They roll and grip great. Plus, they look awesome!
Even in the rain they get great traction on or off-road! I have no problem going through the field shoot. Smooth, I like the big tires, no problems with ruts and sidewalk cracks. Even potholes in the street. Rocks in the road, gravel on the road. They don't slow me down. With small tires I look out for any gravel and rocks in my path and avoid them. With these I don't even look any more. I just plow through everything. Alot better traction than my iCloud Donut tires in the rain and on slick roads. Now, if you just make em in 135mm you would forced me to buy 2 more sets for my other boards. With 17 electric skateboard's, it's nice to have options. I'll never go back to the smooth tires again. So I have several sets that are brand new never used of the 94mm and 90mm smooth one's. Yeah, these should be standard on every 600 or 800 watt dual motor board when you buy it. Darn boards get really expensive when you have to add spacers and new bigger tires right out of the box.
So smooth- my wife has the Voyager and rides the 105 cyclones which are also smooth but these 115’s are nice because they got a little bit of extra grip for riding in the water. The size makes it look pretty mean also.
These wheels are pretty darn good. Nice and big, squishy. I honestly couldn't tell that much difference from the original meepo cyclones or the cloudwheel rovers in terms of impact absorption. They are definitely slightly better but only slightly. I mostly like the large super grippy contact patch. The soft rubber also helps here. They vibrate at low speeds, just like the mad wheels did up to about 8mph but that's to be expected with the giant cutouts. My favourite thing about these is the look as they look exactly like car tyres. They'll roll over practically anything and my top speed with these wheels is 31mph on the original backfire zealot X. I'd say these wheels are mostly suited to boards with lots of torque and for riders who like to cruise at higher speeds. At these speeds the wheels are unflappable and give you real confidence.
These wheels are very nice. I got really good grip at high speeds and the ride feel was very nice and easy going. These are solid rubber wheels and I love the fact that they have metal rims.
