So I bought this because I messed up and needed a replacement. Bearings inside are generic. I can't imagine it has much effect to overall performance. This is frustrating, I've tightened the belts and all hardware associated with motor, bolts, screws, wheels, anything I can hold down. I'll still get rattling/rubbing/slipping of belts to pulley. I'll brake at level 3 at maybe 50% of potential. Anything more like a emergency brake I'm rubbing/slipping over the pulley gears. Love the board. It's like driving a Cadillac but it's pretty fun. It like you have to be an advanced rider to safety ride this behemoth. Big fan. If I could change anything...I'd make the motors along a solid rail system that could tighten the heck out of the pulley motor truck configuration. Second I'd look into auxilary backpack battery that would make the whole board 15lbs versus 50+. I have cut myself picking this board up into my truck. It's a heavy grl. Bearings are an obvious upgrade. Replace the nuts holding the wheels on too. The bushings are soft as heck, Replace or cinch down tightly. Avoid curbs and heavy gaps, there is no rock rails going longitudinally. The motor guards are adequate. The board will still scrape if you carry the board by the trucks. The charge time is great. You can get 2 rides a day given you let the battery cool down before recharge. 12mph down hill is comfortable, 15-18 is fun uphill, 20-24 is pushing it, 25+mph you best not make any sudden move. This board is sooo fast.thats why the double king pin trucks are dangerous. If you ride loose trucks the power and speed can be dangerous combo. Speed wobble is very prone during acceleration and sudden release of throttle. The board is a beast. Worth it
