Customer video review of Meepo Cyclone 120s Ultra Comfort High Grip All-terrain Wheels

Ordered the 120mm Meepo Cyclone wheels to gain traction vs using slippery cloud wheels on the front. I tried all configurations on my Tynee Explorer Pro, as I ordered the plastic 40T gear to fit my belt. Anyhow, with all 4 cyclones on, it’s perfect for carving. As expected, the rubber after a few runs barely looks used. Amazing. The wide stance grips the road, safely at 20mph, and due to the pattern, it can be unpredictable as it flexes to grip, then changes direction for a moment, going over serious road imperfections. Therefore, my second test was much more successful. Putting my 200mm tires back on gave the stability that these 120mm heavy cyclone carving wheels offer. Now, with an improved stance, the tires sink in and feel predictable on smooth bike paths on avg 34 mph, and in the hard dirt/rock paths, an easy 20mph. Now, on my bike paths, I’m carving with much greater confidence at night with the Cyclones on the front. To compare battery usage, using all 4 cyclones was only slightly more efficient than my 200mm heavy duty scooter pneumatics on the back with two cyclones on the front. But, the trade off was speed and stability vs pure carving at slower speeds and sliding through mountains with glee. I look forward to receiving my Meepo Hurricane and retrofitting the fronts with my cyclones. Although altering pneumatics sizes feel superior, and can yield greater efficiency with light weight wheels, flat tires make for long walks. So the hybrid cyclone setup is my solution, where I only need to carry a few heavy duty tubes for the back, and a small hand pump if by crazy chance the heavy duty stable tires fail. The cyclone tires alleviate the issue of carrying more gear, while providing superior grip. Impressive Meepo, thanks!
