High-performance boards shouldn’t be difficult to own. From tire changes to replacement parts, here’s what long-term maintenance actually looks like.
How long does a tire change take?
A standard tire change takes about 5 minutes per wheel on average.
You’ll only need a T-tool and an L-shaped hex key for a standard wheel change. No specialized workshop tools are required.
Are replacement tires and wear parts available?
Yes. Replacement tires, wheels, belts and other common wear parts are available separately for supported models.
We recommend checking the Accessories section for current availability and compatible replacement parts for your board.
What spare parts should I keep on hand?
For frequent riders, we recommend keeping a few common wear items available:
- Drive belts
- Replacement tires or wheels
- Bearings
- Inner tubes for pneumatic-tire models
Having basic wear parts on hand can reduce downtime and keep your board ready to ride.
How often should I inspect the belts and drivetrain?
Every 100–150 miles / after rough rides
Can I do routine maintenance myself?

I am so happy with meepo Vader hurricane carbon 4WD, it is so strong bord very fast, it can climb any kind of hill, low noise and very smooth on road.
Its a absolute blast I used to ride long boards when I was a kid but now im 36 and also im a heavy guy at 275lbs. But this thing rocks!! Of course it doesn't get the miles it says im 275lbs so thats a given but it does get about 19miles a charge and I will say this if your riding a skateboard more then 19miles in a day then your pro .. but for the normal person wanting to get out there and have fun.. well worth it and if your a bigger guy like me this is your board.!!
I’ve never owned a skateboard before, but now—after turning 50—I’m absolutely loving it. I’m already planning to buy the new Monster 2500 in the near future. I just received my new wheels and even got a free pair of pulleys—thanks, Meepo!

I love the board, the Meepo Vader -hurricane Carbon 2 Wheel beltdrive I got it to commute back-and-forth to work at a 14 mile round-trip I weigh about 320 pounds and the board still has a lot of spunk with me on it uphill and with my weight and the terrain I get about 25 miles to a charge I’ve had it a little over a week and I’ve already put 85 miles on it. This thing will get up and go and it’s a lot of fun.

I'm 52yrs young and love the vader carbon. The all wheel drive has torque from start to top speed. Battery life is pretty decent. Definitely would recommend.
They are a blast I bought two of them to ride with the kids and we ride them all the time.
Feeling like Silver Surfer!!!
I have purchased 2 hurricanes and as much as loved it for the first year, after some components broke down it was all down hill. I couldn’t figure out how to fix the first one so i mistakenly bought a second one hoping for better results. The second one I bought had a motor freeze up on me at about 500 miles , lucky I was starting to accelerate and only at about 15 mph when it locked up. They sent me out a replacement motor and I was able to swap it out with the old one. A month later I had some electrical issues and the board started to smoke and melt at the charging port when I plugged it in to charge. Since then it’s been a total nightmare dealing with customer service for months . I asked them if there was somehow a way I could send them back the 2 broken un-useable boards and receive a discount on a new one, I know, but was hoping maybe the 3rd time was the charm. They said no . So last time I dealt with em they sent me a new battery to swap out with old one. The cables are not long enough to reach the ports they are supposed to connect to and the cables have different connections then the original battery, they responded by saying no it will work . . I give up , throwing both meepo hurricanes into the garbage with the new useless battery . I spent over 6k with this company and will never use them again. Off to try another brand that values customer service and makes a more reliable product.

This board is great! I wish I got it sooner. So much power and stability, and so maneuverable. It’s an excellent product, but there are 2 maybe 3 slight downsides. It’s MASSIVE. You can see it makes my v4S look like a toy, so transporting it can be a bit of a challenge. It also weighs over 30lbs, again making transport difficult but also dealing with it if you rode it to a store or something is a pain. You can’t exactly lock it up on a bike rack. The third is more for me, the charger. I personally find it quite difficult to get the charger into the board because of the location of the port, and how stiff the cable is. I’ve made my own workaround that kinda works for now but if you have fine motor issues good luck. Overall, just do it. I wish I had a long time ago. Treat yourself and get outside more.

Love my fiberglass Hurricane. Recently bought another one for my wife so that we can ride together. Check out mad max 125mm tires, they are great, grippy and smooth. My favourite tires though, are my old 110mm rubber, worn to flat sleeks, I did more than 1k miles on them, they carve like nothing else.
So far great experience, enjoyable ride where do I use my points every time I try and go to the website and messes up
It’s my first e-skate and I love it. I especially like the low setting as it gave me time to acclimate my skill and balance to the board by having a low initial speed limit of 10 mph. I don’t have experience of other boards to compare it to but It’s definitely living up to the advertised speed and battery life.
Fun board, pretty heavy, but that's a testament to its quality. Be careful how you put it down; my trucks and tire got messed up on the right side somehow, but they're sending replacements. Overall, 10/10.
I’ve owned a few electric skateboards, this one is definitely my favorite. I use it almost every day! Great looking board, and very comfortable to ride. Love it!

Got all my buddies trying it out. Love taking it up the trail hills. Great for running errands. Such a blast. Would love to try a more lightweight one with a tail to do a little more city friendly stuff. This one is more for off road pleasure.
Straight out the box takes like 30 minutes max to setup ready to go right out the box Probally best to start off with setting 2 pretty jerky but you get used to it fast. Second the board is customizable on the controller edit speed for each setting how much acceleration percent and speed very cool. Third thing is battery life is crazy you can travel so far so fast with this board and takes turn super great smooth ride on road and off eats bumps pops up small curbs easy I’ve only had the thing 2 days out over 24 miles on it reach 25 mph on it board gets scary up there gotta get used to going faster but overl 10/10 no bad things to say about the board shipping was about 6 days for me from California to Texas

I recieved the Vader Carbon a few days ago. This is a beautifully made longboard with performance to match. It looks every bit of its price tag... The deck is just beautiful from the grip tape all the way down to the hurricane logo. Im enjoying the ride so far and the battery life is top notch. The remote is also easy to use and program. While the Vader is a premium longboard with a premium price tag, I did find some minor imperfections. ☆ The tires arrived needing to be inflated to 20 psi. No big deal, I set my compressor regulator to 20 psi fixed that. ☆ The CNC wheels have some edges that needs to be deburred.. be careful installing the wheels, some of the edges in the spokes are sharp....
Thank you, Meepo, for creating a quality product. I currently own the Hurricane Vader. With a little truck tuning, I've achieved the stability and maneuverability I was aiming for at a speed of 22mph. I have no plans on doing any speed runs, as that wasn't my intention when I purchased it. Yes, it's a bit heavy, but that's expected with the gear drive. So far, so good!

The hurricane is like a tank! Love the board. Issues are with the battery and the warranty. My first board’s battery with a year warranty was a joke. I explained to them how I couldn’t make it 1/3 of the distance anymore I used to and they asked me to hook up an electric device to check the battery that I didn’t have. So I emailed a video of a full charged battery and me riding 1/3 of the distance it usually would go before it ran out. I have 2 boards with over 4500 miles between them. Not sure I will purchase another one if battery doesn’t hold its charge after year. Great board! Love it. But warranties and customer service was a joke.
